Opera GX, the World’s First Gaming Mobile Browser
Opera christened its brand new portable browser over on the Opera Investor website. The release of Opera GX on mobile devices makes it the world’s first gamer browser to make the jump onto a smaller screen.
Opera is keen to make the mobile GX experience the best it can be:
Opera goes on to explain that the GX Corner is an information hub built directly into the browser. Gamers can use it to check up on game-related news and deals on titles they’ve been keeping an eye on.
The “Flow” feature is exciting for those who swap between PC and mobile often. Once you pair up your PC and your phone via scanning a QR code, you can send links and information between the two of them.
Opera GX also comes bundled with some handy quality-of-life features right out of the box. For instance, it has its own ad-blocker, cookie pop-up blocker, and cryptojacking protection.
If you want to give it a whirl, the Opera GX browser for mobile is currently in beta. You can visit the article linked above for direct links to the beta files. If you’d rather wait, Opera hopes to get a full release out in the coming weeks.
Bringing Your A-Game, No Matter Where You Are
Opera GX offers some excellent features for gamers, and now you can bring that power with you wherever you go. If you’re interested, give the beta a try today, or hang on tight until Opera officially launches its gamer browser for all to use.
If you’re a gamer and have never touched Opera GX, it’s well worth a try. There are some fantastic features built into the browser, such as Twitch follower integration and resource monitoring.
